What’s in your bag?
I saw this meme a few weeks ago on someone’s blog. I can’t remember who anymore, unfortunately, but it looks like it’s been done by a few other bloggers that I read occasionally as well, so you can get a comparison if you’d like.
Now, this would have included much more stuff a few months ago, when I was carrying a bigger bag, but here’s the new bag and it’s contents:

So, since this picture is somewhat small, here’s a list of what I found in the great abyss of my purse:
- My wallet, also from Target
- My D&G sunglasses
- A comb (a bit big to be portable, but I can’t find a smaller one in the house)
- A super-duper nail file
- A mirror from The Body Shop
- A packaged hand wipe from TGIFridays
- Mickey and Minnie key chains (not attached to the main key chain yet for some reason)
- Chapstick (I actually prefer Natural Ice brand lip balm, it’s all tingly!)
- Advil and Tylenol Cold and Sinus (just getting over a cold)
- Eye drops (I have contacts, there is always something bothering my eye)
- 2 hair ties
- 2 bobby-pins
- My keys
- Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer in Sweet Pea
- A notepad-pen combo from Barnes & Noble
- Another pen (with fairies on it)
- Ticket stub from The Dark Knight
- Shopping list
- Receipt from Off Broadway Shoes
- Receipt from Bloom
- My Zune
- iPod sock case (show me a cute Zune case and I’ll buy it)
- 2 reusable bags (I’ve switched to greenbags from Whole Foods for groceries and use these for other shopping. They’re Envirosax – they’re very cute and roll up nice and tiny!)

- Bed Bath and Beyond coupon

- Wrigley’s 5 gum in Rain (I love this gum. I also really like Lush, a tropical flavor)
Obviously this was taken without any pre-decluttering to make me look good. I did take out all the trash after taking the picture, but seriously, coupons need to get smaller. On the plus side, having all this junk in my purse made me quite the team asset in a recent bridal shower game!

If you had to be one of the costumed greeters at Walt Disney World for a day, what character would you be and why? What do you anticipate your day would be like?
I think I’d choose to be Snow White. As much as I like the no-talking aspect (I’m shy) of the full costume with head of things like Minnie, I definitely wouldn’t want to be in that hot suit all day, so of all the princesses, I think I’d choose Snow White, since I’m pretty pale and have dark hair to begin with. I also like that she’s supposed to be friendly with all the animals. I also love animals. I’ve always liked Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) also, because I like to sleep, but I’m not sure I’d make a good blonde.
I think I’d have fun being a character at Disney World, apart from my shyness, which I’m sure I’d get over. The past 2 visits, I really enjoyed seeing all the little girls in their adorable princess costumes, looking forward to possibly having one of my own one day – ask the hubby, every time I pointed one out, he’d just roll his eyes jokingly and say I can’t have her (one day…assuming I don’t have all boys. They probably wouldn’t enjoy being dressed up like a princess…). I’m sure they’d be super-excited to see me, which would be a lot of fun. I’m not sure how I’d handle the crying or bratty children though (this is one reason why I’m not quite ready for my own children yet).
For the record, my hubby says he’d be Mickey because everyone loves Mickey, though he thinks he may be too tall. He can do a pretty convincing Mickey laugh though!
